The mission of the Paris Education Foundation is to encourage and motivate students to continue education beyond high school, and to provide scholarships, teacher grants, and academic programs through community supported endowments and other resources.
History of the Paris Education Foundation The Paris Education Foundation is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization formed in response to the desire of the Paris Independent School District Board of Trustees to increase the scholarships offered to Paris High School graduates. Established in 1989, the foundation was created to generate financial support for the students and faculty of the Paris Independent School District. PEF is funded by investment monies from the original endowment, endowed scholarships, fund raising events and your contributions. PEF hosts two annual fund raising events: "I Love Paris" which is held in February and the J.T. Davis Golf Tournament, which is held in June. Both of these fund raisers have been great successes because of the generous support of our community!! Each year, scholarships are given for post-high school studies and teacher enhancement. PEF also provides annual monitary Teacher of the Year Awards for the selected teacher from each PISD campus.
You can now make your donations online!
Because of the generosity of our donors, PEF has awarded $951,554 in student scholarships and $62,640 in teacher grants and Teacher of the Year Awards. For information concerning the Paris Education Foundation, please contact:
